What an idiot, so the only reason he is nice to people is because he believes there is a god? What an idiot.
This caller (David) is a prime example of what mindless aggressive robots these callers are.In my opinion,most of them are beyond help.Not a shred of decency or intelligence.Two basic requirements to live in a society.
Most of them don’t know how to spell IQ!
The end of this video is what is the scariest. So many creationists state that they would commit immoral actions for their deity if need be or if asked to. This scares the hell out of me, how about you? What were dealing with is lunatics who have failed to come out of the closet yet. I sure hope their proverbial closet has a lock encasing them from the immoral actions they seem to have no problem committing in the name of their deity. What the Fu#K has religion done to humanity?
A recurring statement by creationists, 2:49, If there is no god, humans can indulge in any criminal act with no justice to face. The answer is: Yes, we can, but we don’t. The reason being is moral boundaries set by people who live amongst one another, not moral boundaries set by a god. We as humans are much like that of any other herding animal, we act to the benefit of survival of the species. Laws set by society serves justice, not a sky daddy. You trust god, ill leave justice to a jail cell!
lol “shut up bitch”
@spinnersmetal
I agree fully.
Christianity is a prime example of teaching people to fear the lash, rather than holding true love for one’s neighbor.
Perrrrrrfect example of religious studpidity!
@Anon11674 SOME wouldn’t. Look up what happened in 1969 when Montreal’s entire police force went on strike. You will find some great examples of good christian moral behavior…..i mean wild packs of looting and vandalising nutjobs
@spinnersmetal
Not everyone. Those with a proper moral sense will behave as much as they can. Of course, those are in the minority. Most people are taught to obey authority, rather than use their natural empathy, and many become worse than beasts when they think they can avoid punishment.
Didn’t slavers in the last century use the bible to justify enslaving black people?
Matt, I really admire your patience with these callers.Most of them are below room temperature IQ.
@TBTabby This suggests that most people will simply obey whatever an authority figure tells them to do, even if it’s something they would normally find reprehensible. It doesn’t have to be a god. It could just be some guy with a lab coat, a uniform, or a badge.
@TBTabby Every time the subject pressed the “shock” switch, the other subject would scream in agony and beg them to stop, but the test giver would urge them to continue. The fake subject would start banging on the wall and complaining of a heart condition, and after that all sounds from the fake subject’s room would cease, indicating that they were either dead or unconscious. Most subjects didn’t even question it until the 300 volt mark.
The MIlgram Experiment suggests that this isn’t a problem limited to religion. For those who haven’t heard of it: subjects were told that they were giving memory tests to another subject, who was actually just an actor. They would ask the fake subject questions, and whenever they got one wrong, the subject was told to give them an electric shock. The shocks were fake too, but the subjects were told that they would start at 45 volts and increase with every wrong answer.
We have POLICE to answer to. We have LAWS to answer to. We have EACH OTHER to answer to. Take away laws and police, people will do whatever they want regardless of their religious beliefs.
@LogicEnthusiast My serial killing days are over. I promise! Just don’t get in my way and you won’t get hurt!
@vcomp1960 fair enough, just please dont kill anyone.
@LogicEnthusiast Thanks for the advice but I like myself the way I am.
@vcomp1960 no. i couldnt kill someone even if it was legal because i feel guilt, remorse and empathy, and im no psychologist but thats what i think is normal. if you do not feel remorse (regret after hurting another person or doing a selfish deed), then that indicates to sociopathy, and you should probaly talk to someone who knows a bit more than i do.
@LogicEnthusiast If you think I’m the only one who thinks this way than you are delusional. I am the normal one, not you. I’m just being truthful and I think you are being dishonest…
@vcomp1960 wow, ok then.
there i was assuming you where a normal person.
most people would feel some sort of remorse or empathy towards other people, for a mentaly healthy person their morals would let them know that it is ‘wrong’ to kill people just out of hate. if you dont feel any of that, then you have some sort of personality disorder and i can only recomend seeing a psychologist.
Ancient Greece existed before the stupid bible was written, and people there understood that murder and theft is bad. Religion is so dumb.
@LogicEnthusiast I don’t think it was written poorly. And yes….Jail is the only thing stopping me from killing a few people I hate…
Religious people are crazy.
